Thanksgiving Headband

I had some extra fabric from my table topper so I decided to make a headband to wear on Thanksgiving. It was really simple just twisted the fabric and hot glued it to a felt back. Cute and simple.

Sewing Machine

With a new sewing machine I might just be able to kick things up a notch. Recently I have sewn an apron from a very easy pattern, have to start somewhere right? I also made a table topper and hanging towel for Thanksgiving. I will be sewing stockings this next week. Im pretty excited!

Baby Blanket: Matilda Smylie

I know I haven't posted anything in a really long time. School got crazy and well I didn't have much time to be crafty. This is something I have been working on for the last few months. This is a baby blanket for my sister in law Sarah, she just had a baby, her name is Matilda and she is adorable. I feel like this blanket really goes well with little Matilda Smylie. I didn't want the typical little girls blanket with pinks and purple, so I chose these colors and I feel like is kind of earthy but funky, I love the way it came out!

Headbands!!!!

My most recent project has been crocheting head bands. The band is crocheted with a button attaching the two ends. I use different techniques and materials to make each one unique. Not only are they cute, but during the winter they keep your ears really warm.

The Inspiration behind LE Designs

This is my Grammie, Eleanor. She taught me to crochet when I was probably in junior high. Whenever I visit her she has a new project going, whether its slippers, wash clothes for blankets.  She crochets baby blanket for all the new additions to our family. I got a baby blanket from her when I was born, and 22 years later I still have it in tact. She is a wonderful lady, with an amazing spirit. Thank you Grammie for teaching me a wonderful craft.
